As discussed in part 1, EMDR is a trauma-informed evidence-based approach that involves utilizing sensory tools to help individuals identify calm and stabilization in their bodies. This is a continuation of that in part 2.

Sometimes scary things happen to children and teens. One way we can approach helping kids heal from all different types of scary things that may happen to them is through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I recently visited Honolulu in the recent months and not only was the weather and scenery beyond breathtaking but several of the Hawaiian practices were unique and relevant to mental health work.
